Notes

This is a largely off-road route from the Chevin out to Harewood estate and back via Golden Acre and Pinfold woods. There is nothing technical but it is not suitable for skinny road wheels/tyres. The ride is being offered jointly with Queensbury Queens in the hope of enabling more women to have opportunities to ride off road. The cafe stop will be at Golden Acre Park, approximately 2/3 of the way round.

Safety, pace, and ride notes

It will be SLOW. There will be mud - waterproof socks are your friend, especially if you need to get off and push! I have done this route on a gravel bike and an e-bike with 38cc tyres and both were fine but I wouldn’t choose to ride on any less. Hybrid, MTB, gravel and e-bikes are all welcome.

Kit, preparation, and weather

This is Yorkshire in November, please dress accordingly. Please bring a sense of humour and carry ICE information. Numbers will be limited to 6 as there are already 6 QQoM ladies coming.
