Annual ride to commemorate the birthday of George Herbert Stancer, an early pioneer of cycling, and former secretary of the Cyclists' Touring Club (now Cycling UK). Event entry fee of £5 includes entry to Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington, where lunch will be available to buy.



100 miles flat to Pockington and back. great challenge to celebrate the origins of the Cycle Touring Club. £5 to Pam Baxter at the Buttercross - includes a stamp card, entry to Gardens in Pocklington and tea and cake at end (in clubrooms). Make sure that you at Buttercross for 8.45am WE LEAVE AT 9.00AM SHARP!!!!

Safety, pace, and ride notes

There will be a Storm ride that with group riding will probably hit 17mph (anyone who can normally do 15mph should be fine). Plus likely to be others heading out.
