Weekly sessions aimed at developing youth, junior, U23 and senior riders to improve their road racing abilities. These sessions are open to riders from ANY club but are organised and promoted by Otley Cycle Club, whose qualified coaches deliver varied and structured sessions for a range of abilities but aimed primarily at riders looking to develop speed, endurance, bunch riding and race tactics. These are 90-minute sessions commencing at 19:00. Entry links will be posted weekly here by coaches in advance of each session.

Please enter in advance via TryBooking:

Cost: £5 per rider

Safety, pace, and ride notes

The 90 minute session will be broken down into a number of sections: structured warm up, focus activities and, normally, a handicap race (or two!). Pace will be brisk, but don't worry if you can't keep up for the whole session - drop a lap, have a breather, and jump back on. Often we'll have multiple groups running at difference speeds, so you will be in a group to suit your own performance aspirations.

Kit, preparation, and weather

We will run in most weather conditions, apart from when there is a risk of snow or ice (typically sub 2C). The track has been known to flood after heavy rain, so keep an eye out for updates.
