Meet at Gargrave rail station for a prompt 9am departure.
Safety, pace, and ride notes
The route takes us via back roads to Settle and up the Bowland Knotts climb, a stunning 7.4km climb at average 4.3% (max 9%). Cafe stop at Slaidburn and then back to Gargrave via quiet, rolling country lanes.
Average pace will be 11-14mph.
Kit, preparation, and weather
The top of the climb is exposed moorland so it could be glorious sunshine or driving rain. Come prepared for both options!
