The wet conditions cleared to provide a pleasant evening for the season's first ride of the Hilly 14 mile course around Leathley, Beckwithshaw and Norwood.
Fastest rider on the night was guest Johnny Brownlee, in a time of 36:40. Fastest OCC rider, and also fastest woman, was Olivia French in 39:51. French also took most points in the points competition.
Next week should (hopefully) see the first full lap of the series namesake course, starting at Arthington from 19:30. Details of the series can be found on this page .
