This is supposed to be a summer TT series, but you wouldn't know it from the low temperatures riders faced as they rode a 10 mile event around the Brownlee circuit. Otley produces them tough though, with 14 riders (including one unfortunate DNF) not being put off.
Fastest on the night was Sam Ward in 23:46, but it was very close with Tom Smith a mere 3s behind. Fastest woman was Emily Middlebrooke in 27:58.
Most improvement and maximum handicap points went to Helen Goldthorpe, but again fiercely fought with only a 2s scaled lead.
Next week sees a new event over on the Pennypot Lane circuit. Meeting point will be at the car parking on Broad Dubb Road and Norwood Lane, between Norwood Village and Beckwithshaw. The event will run an anti clockwise course from the army college round to Beckwithshaw.
