Triangle 3 - 2025

Article image

Following the success of the trial event earlier in the year, the Triangle added a new course to its schedule, with a 10mile event around the Brownlee circuit. Riders were greeted with 10 laps, including a stiff headwind up the climb and a strong tailwind on the descent, coupled with some technical turns for a rather sporting course.

Fastest on the night was OCC and Triangle regular Sam Ward with a 21:57, and fastest woman was Helen Goldthorpe in 27:06. Liam Mealey made the biggest improvement on handicap, taking most points in the season long competition.

Well done all who raced and thank you to the volunteers.

Next Tuesday sees the first of the season's championship events, with the 10mile over at Walshford. To be eligible for prizes, enter via the app by Monday evening.
