A scorching event on the 10mile Red Wall course saw 13 riders take part, and some appropriately hot times were recorded to close up evening rides for the season.
Fastest on the night was Sam Ward in 20:25, and fastest woman was Helen Goldthorpe in 25:50. Most points were taken by David Howe with a scaled time of 22:55.
With just the 30mile event still to ride (on the morning of 20th September), only 2 points separate Sam Ward and John Raftery at the top of the season long competition.
