Otley Cycle Club now offering Women's 'Breeze' rides

Do you have female friends or family members who say "I'd love to cycle but.... I'm not fit enough/fast enough/don't have the right kit/don't have anyone to go with/don't know where to go"?

Please tell them about our new Breeze rides - these are fun, free rides for women (18+), transgender females and non-binary participants who most closely identify as female. Everyone is welcome, all you need is a working bike, a helmet and suitable clothes for the weather. We may even be able to help you borrow/hire a bike if you don't have one.

Rides are in small groups, using quiet roads/cycle routes and are led by a Breeze champion so you don't have to worry about where you are going. Most rides will start near a train station so you can get there without a car or cycling on busy roads.

All the details (When, where, how far etc) will be on the Let'sRide website; the Otley Breeze page is just being set up and when it's done women can use this to contact the ride leader and sign up to come on the ride.

If there are any female Otley members who would like to share their love of cycling and get involved in the Breeze rides, please contact Sam Edwards (Women's officer) via the OCC email or Facebook group.
