Reliability Ride - Sunday, 4th February

The RR ride is a long-standing fixture on the Club calendar and is one of 10 early season rides organised by cycling clubs across Yorkshire, attracting riders from far and wide.

We need a small number of volunteers to help Chip Lowrence and Trevor Howe with setting up, registering and helping riders at the start of the ride from the Buttercross on the Sunday morning of 4th February 2024. Riders will gather from 08.45 and will hopefully be away by 09.30. Our volunteers should arrive a little earlier than this and are welcome to join the ride later.

We need a couple of volunteers, late morning / lunch time to count riders back in at Chevin Cycles.

And we need volunteers to help at the Club House on the Sunday morning / lunch time helping prepare sandwiches and serving these, with cakes, tea and coffee, to the hungry riders on their return.

Cake baking – Saturday, 3rd February

We need a small army of bakers to make delicious cakes, flapjacks, sponges, savouries and / or gluten free, dairy free bakes to be dropped off at the clubhouse on the afternoon of 3rd February, the day before the Reliability Ride.

If you can help on the day or bake a cake for the event, please let Trevor Howe, the Event Organiser, know at trevorbhowe@aol.com. Your help will once again be greatly appreciated.
