Notes

A ‘Nanny goat’ ride at a steady pace. This is an opportunity for those ladies doing the coast and castles route to have a first ride together and we would love other female club members to join us. It is hoped that this will be the start of monthly women’s rides.

The planned cafe stop is at Clean Eats. Usual goat rules apply:

*No one gets left, we always wait at the top

*First to the top takes the photos

*No moaning about the hills

Safety, pace, and ride notes

This is a women’s social ride at a steady pace, there will be lots of 'scenery stops'. Please make sure you are fit to ride and carry ICE information.

Kit, preparation, and weather

I am looking forward to riding with you tomorrow. The weather is forecast to be cold but clear. I’m sure the hills will warm us up but this is not a fast ride so do dress to allow for scenery stops without getting cold. There have been a few ‘I’m not bike-fit/I haven’t been out for a while’ concerns voiced… this is intended to be a steady, sociable ride and no-one will be slowing anyone down or get left behind.
