It's early May, which means the start of the Triangle TT season. The first event took place on the 10mile A168 course, with bright conditions but a very strong headwind on the return leg up the Red Wall.
Nine OCC members took on the course, including new names Richard Lebeter and Sam Wallis to join more experienced riders.
Fastest on the night was Sam Ward in 21:42, and fastest woman was Helen Goldthorpe (complete with a duck) in 28:42.
Next week sees a return to the Walshford course again, with a start at 7:00pm. Details of the courses and remaining events can be found here . It would be good to see some more new faces.
