We're almost at the end of the time trial season, with mostly just the short Hill Climb season to go. This includes our 2 stage Hill Climb, on the 30th September, on Guisecliff (near Pateley Bridge) and Norwood Edge. If anyone wishes to race, entries will be open until 20th September on the CTT website. If you want to assist in running the event, or just stand road-side to cheer the competitors, get in touch with organiser Liam Mealey (liammealey@hotmail.com).
We're also looking to next year's events. We currently are intending to run a 10mile event in April (organised by Steve Moncur) and again a Hill Climb. Until a couple of years ago, we also ran a 25mile event out between Boroughbridge and Walshford. We currently don't have an organiser for this event, but would like to try and relaunch it if possible. If you'd like to help take on this role, please contact Liam Mealey, and we can discuss what is involved and possible dates. You will of course not be doing this alone, and will be getting support from the club. The role is mostly about being the main point of contact for all involved.
